AA cinemagraphs

In the autumn of 2022, I was invited to shoot alongside a commercial film crew whilst the were capturing new footage for an AA TV advert. I headed to Castleton in the Peak District to create still versions of what they shot. Whilst on the shoot, it occurred to me that these shots could be brought to life in the form of a cinemagraph. Cinemagraphs are images that animate in a simple loop to create an everlasting moving photograph, they are usually made into gifs and are great for websites, social media and digital advertising. I created a sample animation and sent it to the ad agency along with the photos, the client loved them so asked me to create versions of all the shots I took. The animations are simple but effective and create stand out on the web.
